In this exhibition, I explore new mythologies within post-Hungarian culture. You’ll encounter figures like Count Széchenyi with cracked eyelids, Putin fresh from an after-party, and Lörinc Mészáros as a mermaid, alongside more surreal symbols such as a blood-stained lace tablecloth soaked in liver. Raw meat and the mystical world of mermaids reflect our half-human, half-animal nature, confronting reality while escaping its challenges. This strange journey blurs the line between the real and the imagined, leaving the interpretation open for you to decide—escape or transform?
